#15 – Moving day around town

From Lynne:

It is not uncommon to see lots of stuff piled on one little vehicle. Here it is moving day.

bike piled high with many boxes

A precarious balancing act!

Our friends here have a Toyota Landcruiser  which is very capable on the deeply rutted roads.

On the way in, we saw baboons along the road. We hope to have a Safari day next week, but so far the Big 5 for us have included donkeys, pigs, goats, chickens and mosquitoes.

“Moving day” looks like SE Asia where they somehow could put 6 large pigs or 2 dozen chickens on one motor scooter. The heat sounds like a killer. Do they have a cool season? When are you going to the animal reserve?

We have had lots of snow….bet you’d love to see some of that! It’s beautiful. We have shoveled a maze in the backyard for Livvy but she still gets snow balls on her when she goes out and she loves to go out in the snow. She just burrows her nose in it and runs.

I got an e-mail from you re Chris. I’m trying to track it down. Say hey to Joann.

How is that bicycle staying upright? Amazing!

The bicycle moving method gives “a Holley with a Dolly” a new meaning!
